To create and sustain effective relationships between the client organisation and the Government.
To participate in policy formulation and implementation within the Client organisation
Plan, direct, or coordinate technical and marketing activities of the company to ensure compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures.
Offering advice about company policies, practices and systems
Act as a link between the company and regulatory authorities (NERC), ensuring that customers are adequately metered and billed with the proper tariff in compliance with appropriate legislation.
Regularly monitor changes in regulations, if any, and analyse implications on business operations.
Collaborate with marketing and technical team to file for renewals or resolve regulatory issues.
Guide team on process/product adherence to regulatory standards and advice to file for approvals to drive compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Ensuring compliance with NERC regulations
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor Degree in legal, Marketing or technical field
An advanced degree, most often in a legal, Marketing or technical field.
10 year experience, 5 years management experience in similar roles.
Broad technical, legal and business knowledge
