They are building a top notch team to ensure rapid transformation to ensure quality service delivery to customers.
The client urgently requires a new Head of Procurement, a seasoned professional with exceptional ability and grounded professional experience.

The Position is based in Port Harcourt.
Job Objectives:
• Manage company purchases and assists with contract administration.
• Liaise with Departmental Managers to educate, support and process their procurement needs and provide recommendation on purchases for their consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the management, administration, and supervision of the company’s purchasing programs. In charge of contracting services,
• Managing the purchase of supplies, equipment and materials, and negotiating prices and contracts in line with company policy.
• Provision of guidance, advice, and support to ensure that procurement processes implemented are effective, efficient, ethical and provide the best possible value to the company

Qualifications and Experience
• An engineering degree preferably with material management or purchasing/logistic management, or a Bachelors’ degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• MBA an added advantage
• Minimum 10 years of experience out of which at least 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, of which 2 years must be at an executive level.
• Has worked preferably in the power, oil & gas or telecommunications industries
• Working knowledge and experience of MS Office applications and ERP essential.
